The Embassy of Italy in Mascate, Sultanate of Oman, celebrated the Italian Cuisine Week in the World, which this year enhances the theme "Italian Cuisine between Health, Culture and Innovation." Chef Pasquale Vitale gave a much-appreciated lecture at the Oman Tourism School, organized a cooking show in the Omani capital's main supermarket, and prepared a menu based on local products from the Amalfi Coast for a reception at the residence of the Italian ambassador in Mascate, Pierluigi D'Elia.
