In 2025, the first year of its new business plan, giant Italian insurer Generali recorded its best-ever operating profit of €8 billion (+9.7%), driven by all business segments, and a record normalized net profit of €4.3 billion.     Net profit rose 12% to €4,172 million (from €3,724 million in 2024).     The board of directors will propose a dividend of €1.64 (+14.7%) and a €500 million buyback at the next shareholders' meeting, confirming its commitment to increasing shareholder remuneration,
