Humanoid robot outruns humans in Beijing half-marathon

Humanoid robots outran their human counterparts in a half-marathon in China on Sunday (Apr 19). The winning “Lightning” bot, developed by Honor, completed the race in 50 minutes 26 seconds — beating the world record of 57 minute 20 seconds set by Ugandan athlete Jacob Kiplimo last month in Lisbon.
