Singapore's Defence Ministry will step up recruitment this year, bringing in about 3,000 new personnel. Of these, 1,000 will be specialists for classified technology roles. Defence Minister Chan Chun Sing said this is aimed at strengthening the nation's defence capabilities in a "much less secure" world.
