A Japanese expert on liquefied natural gas (LNG) said on Tuesday (March 3) that the LNG crisis is entering an “unprecedented era,” as the US-Iran conflict intensified after Tehran targeted ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. “The Strait of Hormuz, which includes supply from Qatar and UAE, accounts for about 20% of global LNG supply.
