Police chief apologises for 'second time' after misleading MPs on Maccabi Tel Aviv fans

West Midlands police chief constable Craig Guildford has apologised for "the second time" to MPs on Maccabi Tel Aviv fans. Mr Guildford has now apologised after giving "false evidence" about the decision to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from a football match against Aston Villa. Previously, he said the Jewish community had supported the ban on Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from attending the match at Aston Villa. He later had to acknowledge that was not the case.
