A new version of the Air Force 's service handbook has removed mentions of diversity and deleted entire paragraphs about the service's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as a quote from recently fired Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Charles "CQ" Brown . Air Force Handbook 1, a more than 600-page document used by airmen to study for promotion exams, was rescinded last month as service officials rushed to edit out anything that could be deemed in violation of orders by President Donald Trump
