Jet with deputy chief minister aboard crashes in western India

Jan. 28 (UPI) -- A mid-size jet with a deputy chief minister and four others aboard crashed while attempting to land at a western India airport Wednesday morning, according to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, which said there were no survivors. The deceased have been identified as Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar of Maharashtra state, two crew members and two other government employees, including a personal security officer.
