The US has recognised three women from Papua New Guinea, the Philippines and Sri Lanka for their battle against human trafficking and corruption. The trio were among eight winners of the annual International Women of Courage (IWOC) award in Washington DC. The annual ceremony was hosted by First Lady Melania Trump and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
