A "timeless" period drama that's bagged an astonishing 99% on Rotten Tomatoes has revealed a massive series two cast announcement. FX and Disney+ historical epic Shogun premiered worldwide in February 2024, following English sailor John Blackthorne (portrayed by Cosmo Jarvis) who gets wrecked off the coast of Japan circa 1600 and finds himself caught up in the intricate political machinations surrounding Lord Yoshiii Toranaga ( Hiroyuki Sanada ). Shogun's inaugural season, adapted from James
