Over the weekend, Scott Mills was sacked from his role as the host of BBC Radio 2's breakfast show. The former darling of BBC Radio was axed just a year after replacing Zoe Ball on the show, in a move that left many shocked. It has since come to light that the decision was linked to a previously unknown police investigation in 2016 regarding a teenage boy . The case was dropped at the time because of a lack of evidence. It's not known if the BBC were aware of the investigation at the time.
