Cytotrait Mar 9 2026 Cytotrait, a biotechnology spinout company from The University of Manchester focussed on the development of novel traits for food and agriculture, today announced the close of its £3 M seed funding round. The investment was led by Northern Gritstone, with contributions from the UK Innovation & Science Seed Fund (UKI2S, managed by Future Planet Capital), and Northern Universities Ventures Fund, managed by Parkwalk in collaboration with Northern Gritstone.
