Romania's electric vehicle market advances 93pct in March 2026, y-o-y (analysis)

As many as 1,209 electric vehicles were registered in Romania in March 2026, 93% more than in the same month last year, according to a market analysis carried out by one of the most important players in the field of electric mobility in Romania. Data centralised by Lektri.Co show that the growth comes amid a diversifying market: Tesla dominated the ranking, BYD placed three models in the top 10, and Dacia Spring remained in the top five.
