Merseyside Police has stated that the parents of Axel Rudakubana will not face any criminal charges - after it was revealed that his parents knew about him carrying knives, his aggression and that he wanted to kill. Rudakubana stabbed to death Alice da Silva Aguiar, 9, Bebe King, 6, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, 7, in Southport at a Taylor Swift themed dance class on July 29, 2024. Findings of a new inquiry have found he was able to do this because of "catastrophic" failures by multiple agencies.
