US former national security advisor John Bolton said "overthrowing the Maduro regime in Venezuela is entirely legitimate for the United States to do". He says the activities of the Maduro regime are inimical to American national security and the step of removing Maduro is something that has to be completed and finished with the rest of the regime. "We've got to eliminate dictatorial corrupt regime and begin the process of turning the government back to the people of Venezuela," he adds. #
