BOGOTA, Colombia At least 124 people were killed and 155 injured when a roof at a nightclub in the Dominican Republic collapsed, officials reported Wednesday. The victims include provincial governor Nelsy Cruz, renowned merengue singer Rubby Perez, who was performing at the club in Santo Domingo, and two former Major League Baseball players -- Octavio Dotel and Tony Blanco. Authorities said Dotel, who played for the New York Mets, was pulled from the debris but died on the way to the hospital.
