UCL astrophysicists win Royal Astronomical Society awards

Professor Jonathan Tennyson has been awarded the society’s Gold Medal, its highest honour, while Dr Paola Pinilla and Dr Niall Jeffrey have received the Price Medal and Early Career Award respectively. Professor Tennyson (UCL Physics & Astronomy) was awarded the Royal Astronomical Society’s (RAS) 200-year-old Gold Medal for his pioneering work advancing our understanding of exoplanets (planets outside our solar system).
