The Prime Minister has pledged to tackle Britain’s “overcautious, flabby state”, admitting that record taxation and spending in recent years have not led to improvement in our front-line services. The first to go in his shake-up is NHS England, which will be abolished to “cut bureaucracy” and bring management of the health service back under the Government.
