Prof. Hodler is Professor of Economics at the University of St.Gallen and Research Fellow at CEPR, CESifo and OxCarre. He holds a PhD from the University of Bern. He had appointments at the University of Melbourne and the University of Lucerne before moving to St.Gallen. His research covers topics in development and political economics.
