Trump tariffs: US president says New Delhi offered Washington a trade deal with no duties

US President Donald Trump has claimed that India has offered a trade deal, proposing no tariffs for American goods. There have been media reports that India is open to reducing duties on certain US goods to zero. Washington and New Delhi are currently in talks to negotiate a trade agreement. Indian goods to the US are set to face levies of up to 27 per cent when the 90-day pause on higher tariffs expires on Jul 9. Ishan Garg reports from New Delhi.
