An amber alert has been issued by the Met Office for snow as dangerous conditions are forecast to hit tomorrow morning with the arrival of Storm Bert, bringing travel nightmares and power cuts to areas. Potentially heavy snow is forecast for areas of England, including Yorkshire, which is set to cause disruption between 7am and noon.
