Comedian Cat Cohen ‘s new one-woman show “Broad Strokes” will debut Off-Broadway over the summer. The musical comedy is set to begin previews at downtown Manhattan’s Lucille Lortel Theatre on July 14 ahead of opening night on July 27. The eight-week engagement will end on Sept. 4. “Broad Strokes” heads to New York following a sold-out run at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The show centers around Cohen’s near-death experience of suffering a stroke at age 30 caused by a hole in her heart.
