April 6 (UPI) -- CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced the host of the American Music Awards on Monday. Queen Latifah will host the 52nd edition on May 25 at 8 p.m. EDT. Latifah has performed at the AMAs and co-hosted in 1995 but has never been nominated. She has won a Grammy for 1995's "U.N.I.T.Y." "It's been an incredible year for music," she said in a statement.
