Brett Kavanaugh is the most likely of President Donald Trump's three U.S. Supreme Court appointees to join the three liberals in a 5-4 ruling. The court currently has a 6-3 conservative majority, including three justices appointed by Trump—Neil Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett—during his first term.
