Disgraced former Congressman George Santos has been released from prison after President Donald Trump commuted his sentence. Santos was arrested in 2023 on federal charges related to wire fraud, money laundering and theft. He eventually pleaded guilty to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft, was sentenced to 87 months in federal prison and ordered to pay a fine.
