Italy's employment rate rose to 62.5% last year but remains last in the European Union, Eurostat said Friday. In Italy, the employment rate in the 15-64 age group rose by 0.3 points in 2025, reaching 62.5%, but our country remains last in Europe, primarily due to the low labor market participation of women.
