Universal Pictures started their presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas with a bang, bringing out Snoop Dogg to promote his upcoming and untitled biopic. The 54-year-old rapper – born Calvin Broadus Jr. – signed a first-look deal with Universal through his Death Row Pictures back in April 2025, with this biopic being the first project to come out of that deal. Snoop Dogg also brought out actor Jonathan Daviss ( Outer Banks ), who was announced back in June 2025 to play the rapper in the biopic.
