Algonquin College welcomed more than 3,000 prospective students and parents to its spring open house, showcasing more than 170 programs just weeks after its board of governors voted to suspend 30 others due to funding shortfalls and a decline in international enrolment. CTV's Natalie Van Rooy reports that college president and CEO Claude Brulé says students currently enrolled in suspended programs will be able to complete their studies, but no new students will be admitted for the fall.
