Nations have been scrambling after US President Donald Trump announced plans for his long-promised tariffs on automotive imports. Japan has called the move "extremely regrettable", while South Korea will be announcing its emergency response. Meanwhile, China said the duties on imported vehicles are a violation of the World Trade Organization's rules.
