Tourette’s charity calls for ‘understanding’ after incident during BAFTAs ceremony

John Davidson, a renowned Scottish campaigner who lives with Tourette Syndrome, was heard yelling from the audience during the BAFTA award ceremony on Sunday evening. The 54-year-old is the subject of the award nominated film I Swear , where he is by Robert Aramayo who took home the Best Actor BAFTA for this role. Aramayo, the BBC and BAFTA host Alan Cumming addressed the incident as some viewers at home were left confused by the outbursts and believed the show was being ‘heckled’. Cumming
