Alp Simsek is a Professor of Finance at the Yale School of Management, a position he has held since 2022. Before joining Yale, he served as an associate professor of economics at MIT and, earlier, as an assistant professor of economics at Harvard University. Simsek is also a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), a research affiliate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and serves as a co-editor of the Journal of the European Economic Association
