Thousands of travellers across India have been stranded by widespread flight cancellations by IndiGo, the country’s largest airline, over the past week. The carrier says it fell short in planning for the Nov 1 rollout of stricter rules on night flying and weekly rest for pilots, with the impact only surfacing now as December travel peaks.
