Vernon Kay has shared an embarrassing memory from his first date with Tess Daly. Vernon, 52, first encountered 57-year-old Tess during their early careers as television presenters in the early 2000s. Vernon was hosting Channel 4's youth-focused T4 programme while Tess presented SMTV Live, ITV's Saturday morning children's show. The pair, who last night announced they were splitting after 22 years together, are said to have met at a BBC Christmas party. They subsequently organised a date at
