A Lotto conman who used a fake ticket to win a £2.5million jackpot has settled a massive bill after a court order - but more than £1m is still missing. Edward Putman was jailed for nine years in 2019 when he was 54 after a trial heard he had submitted a fraudulent lottery ticket in 2009. He has since squared a £939,000 court issued confiscation bill, imposed after the National Lottery scam, which was aided by Camelot insider Giles Knibbs.
