Approximately 86,700 people, Romanian and foreign citizens, and over 17,900 means of transport crossed Romania's external border on the second day of 2025, the Border Police informed on Friday. According to a release sent to AGERPRES, on January 2, the border police officers at the external border of Romania - the border with Serbia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, as well as sea and air flights arriving from outside the Schengen area - carried checks for crossing the border, both incoming
