Toddler pulled from Ottawa River dies at CHEO

An investigation is underway after a toddler drowned in the Ottawa River Friday evening. CTV's Natalie van Rooy reports that Ottawa Police Service Insp. Brian Samuel confirmed a parent called 911 when the child slipped under the water. Ottawa Fire Service deputy chief David Andre says an air support plane and drone helped locate the toddler 40 minutes later.
