The Singapore Management University's new Longevity Societies and Economies Institute is looking to reshape jobs, retirement and support systems, as the country becomes a super-aged society. Backed by a S$10 million fund, it will turn research into action by working with government, businesses and community groups to shape policies and solutions. Meanwhile, with the total fertility rate at an all-time-low, experts are pointing to the silver generation as a key resource in filling manpower gaps.
