The new German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has met with Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Warsaw on his first full day in office. Tusk hailed what he called a 'new opening' in relations with Germany. He stressed that both governments will keep up their support for Ukraine. The two leaders also discussed illegal migration.
