Vladimir Putin's closest international ally has claimed the Russian despot has "regrets" over his brutal invasion of Ukraine - having been taken back by the extent of Volodymyr Zelensky 's resistance. Belarus dictator Alexander Lukashenko has claimed during a recent interview that, knowing Putin "well", he likely "didn't expect it would turn into such a war". Lukashenko, who has directly assisted the Russian incursion with Belarusian troops since 2022, claimed the Russian premier had not
