Macy's raised its annual outlook and reported its best comparable sales growth in three years. “This is the beginning of a momentum change at Macy’s,” Chief Executive Officer Tony Spring said in an interview with Bloomberg's Romaine Bostick. Spring said the company’s back-to-school season is “off to a good start,” which is a “good barometer” for the holiday season. Shares rose sharply on the earnings report.
