Indonesia's former education minister and the founder of multibillion-dollar ride-hailing app Gojek has been sentenced to 10 years' jail. Nadiem Makarim has been convicted of corruption tied to the procurement of laptops for schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. Judges concluded that the deal cost the country around US$120 million in losses.
