Waymo's driverless taxis heading to new U.S. cities

Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Waymo's self-driving taxis are heading to San Diego, Detroit and Las Vegas sometime next year, the company announced Monday. Waymo, a subsidiary of Google 's parent company, Alphabet, has been testing its autonomous vehicles in the three cities to see how they perform under various conditions, including on snow and ice in Detroit.
