With her dreadlocks and nose piercing, Sunniva Gylver says she wants to show another face of the Protestant Church of Norway. Gylver, the new Lutheran bishop of Oslo, holds services for members of the congregation that combine liturgy and yoga. Gylver was elected bishop in December 2024, with 13 votes in her favour and four against. She was ordained as bishop on 23 February.
