Talks between Ukraine and Russia are set to finally begin, after a day of confusion on Thursday. Delegations from Kyiv and Moscow were expected to meet in Istanbul for the first direct talks in more than three years. But Russian President Vladimir Putin was a no-show. So, with only lower-level representatives in his place, Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelenskyy left Turkey - saying Putin was not serious about peace in Ukraine.
