Trixie Franklin's backstory may be explored in a new Call the Midwife spin-off series. The first spin-off series of the extremely popular BBC drama could be a prequel exploring the early years of nurse Trixie before she joined Nonnatus House. Call the Midwife, which is now set in the Seventies, could go back to the Fifties to focus on how the lovable nurse started her career. Show creator Heidi Thomas revealed earlier this week that Call the Midwife could be rested in the future, which would
