Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh , are considered to have one of the most solid royal marriages of recent generations, and during their official tour of Southern Asia earlier this month, they said they were still “best friends” after 25 years as husband and wife. The couple, who married at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in summer 1999, say their relationship is built on a lot of humour, support and an unwavering dedication to royal service.
