Electrified vehicles in Romania witnessed an increase in registrations of 19.5% in March 2025, year-on-year, as all-electric vehicles saw a decrease of 58.8% and a market share of 2.7%, according to data with the General Directorate for Driving Licences and Registrations (DGPCI), processed by the Association of Romania's Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Importers (APIA). "March marks the third consecutive catastrophic month for electromobility in Romania, with a market share of electric vehicles
