Ankara is in contact with both Moscow and Kiev and hopes to build on progress made at past Istanbul talks, the Turkish leader has said Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky have yet to agree to a summit, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated. Speaking to reporters on his way back from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in China on Monday, Erdogan said that he had discussed the Ukraine conflict with his Russian counterpart in Tianjin.
