A Georgia judge plans to throw out the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) charges against the 61 defendants who were protesting the construction of “Cop City,” the $90 million, 85-acre police training facility in the lush forest of a majority-Black Atlanta neighborhood in 2023.
