British authorities on Wednesday arrested nine members of an Islamic sect on allegations of forced marriage, sex offenses and modern slavery. The Cheshire Constabulary carried out the arrests at multiple residences in Crewe, about 147 miles northwest of London, at about 8:50 a.m. Wednesday.
